Less Is More

Big things come in small packages. That saying holds true for our appearance as well. Too much on us, be it our dressing or grooming comes off as cheap since it can be overwhelming to behold. The least obvious the dressing combinations appear, the richer or better you are. It leaves the mind of the beholder for imagination which results in the mystery and sophistication. The same goes for the makeup or hairstyle. Boldness that makes lasting impression literally originates more from the less obvious than the flamboyant. It is however not to say that one should not be gay or carefree. It is more of its misappropriation. To be specific, flamboyancy should be kept for the right occasion and when the event calls for it. According to Henry David Thoreau, ''We are happy in proportion to things we can do without''.
